CHARACTERISTICS
Red Chillies stuffed with Tuna Fish are heart shaped, slightly hot and with an excellent filling. They are picked at full ripening between September and October. We only choose chillies of proper dimensions. They get pickled after the inside part is removed. At the right time they get drained, washed and centrifuged. They get stuffed with a filling of tuna fish, capers and anchovies and covered up with Carli olive oil. Everyone likes them, they are an excellent appetizer or hors d’oeuvre, but even a great side dish to any of your second courses.
Green Chillies stuffed with Cheese: these small green chillies have been meticulously selected by Carli for their delicate piquant flavour. They are stuffed with an inspired combination of goat's and cow's cheese and then covered with our Carli Olive Oil that has been lightly seasoned with salt and wine vinegar. The contrast of their gentle piquancy and the subtle taste and creaminess of the cheese stuffing make Carli's Green Chillies a uniquely sophisticated example of Italian gastronomic know-how.
