Ingredients (For 4 people):
400 g Carli Penne Rigate, 4 eggs, 2 tablespoons of Carli Cooking Olive Oil Tradizionale, 160 g smoked small bacon pieces, 150 ml of fresh cream, 60 g of grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
Time required: 10 minutes preparation time + 12 minutes cooking time
Preparation
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Immerse the penne in the water and allow to cook until al dente (slightly underdone). While the penne is cooking, take a frying pan and fry the bacon in the olive oil until it turns to a golden colour. Lower the heat and add the fresh cream beating all the time to ensure it does not overheat. Lightly salt and add a generous amount of pepper. Drain the pasta and pour into the frying pan with the bacon pieces and fresh cream, break the eggs over the top, mix for 1 minute over the heat and pour into a serving dish. Serve with the
Parmesan as an optional extra. There you have a very simple dish that is quickly prepared with all the charm of Italy!
