Penne with Meat Balls in Sauce

Ingredients (For 4 people):
400 g minced beef meat, 400 g Carli Penne Rigate, 1 clove of garlic, 1 onion, 20 g parsley, 2 slices of stale bread, 100 ml milk, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of flour, 4 tablespoons of Carli Extra Virgin Olive Oil Delicato, 1 jar of Carli Aubergine Gourmet Sauce, salt and pepper.

Time required: 10 minutes preparation time + 15 minutes cooking time

Preparation
Place the penne in a large saucepan of salted boiling water and cook until al dente. While the pasta is cooking, soak the bread in the milk then squeeze it. Chop together the garlic, onion and parsley. Knead all these ingredients together with the meat and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Mould the mixture into small balls, and then roll in flour. Flatten them gently and fry them in oil for 5 minutes each side. Add the Gourmet Sauce and allow to simmer for 5 minutes over a low heat. Serve on the pasta (previously drained from its cooking water). With different flavours, quick to prepare as well as being a meal in itself, this is an ideal dish!
