Preparation
Wash the cauliflower and divide into small florets. Steam cook for 10 minutes. In a frying pan, brown the thinly sliced onion in 2 tablespoons of oil, add 2 tablespoons of water, leave to cook for 5 minutes, then add the cauliflower and the broccoli, allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Then add salt and take off the heat.
Cook the Ziti Corti Rigati in a large quantity of salted boiling water and drain. Mix the pasta with the cauliflower and broccoli, then place the entire mixture into a buttered oven proof dish and cover with béchamel. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and cook “au gratin” for 10 to 12 minutes in an oven preheated to 200° C.
