Ingredients (for 6 persons): For the pastry:
150g flour, 60g icing sugar, 100 ml Carli Cooking Olive Oil,
1 egg, 1 pinch of salt, 20g ground almonds For the filling:
5 apples, 4 tablespoons of sugar
Time required: 10 minutes preparation + 30 minutes for the pastry
to stand + 25 minutes cooking time
Preparation Peel the apples and cut into thick slices. Mix olive oil and
icing sugar in a bowl, add ground almonds, egg, salt and flour a little
at a time. Knead all together, form a ball and leave to stand in the fridge
for 30 minutes. Roll out the pastry in a floured tart dish, then sprinkle half
of the sugar over the pastry. Put the apple slices on the pastry and then add
the rest of the sugar. Cook for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.
This delicious tart, prepared without butter, can be served warm
with a ball of vanilla ice cream or with whipped cream. This is
surely the best of all winter desserts.
