A long fishing tradition
Beautifully pinkish in colour, with the smell of fine sea spray, delicately flavoured and generously sliced, this highly valued White Tuna is fished off the Spanish coast from June to September as only the best flavoured variety are to be found in this area.
This tuna is also line caught, which avoids any damage to the flesh and does not interfere with the marine animal and plant life.
It is immediately prepared on the fishing boat in the traditional way using the same methods as those employed by our ancestors.
After it has been cooked, it is placed in tins and then covered with olive oil, which preserves its unique flavour.
